Here's a flashback for you, and apologies in advance for the length of this post, but the issue is well worth it. On March 24, 1989 the oil tanker Exxon Valdez, loaded with over 50 million of oil and headed for Washington state, ran aground and spilled almost 11 million gallons of crude into Prince William Sound.
